This stunning piano is a lovely example of the rare Italian Renaissance style which was popular in the early 20th Century. M. Schulz was a larger scale piano builder during the early 20th Century. The firm specialized in building traditional upright player pianos, but they also built a limited number of exquisite Art-Case grand pianos, which reflected period and historical furniture styles. This piano is a stunning example of the elaborate Italian Renaissance Style in custom-painted yellow, brown, green and gold. There are several painted scenes of classical Italian country scenes and the color and detail is amazing! With its elegantly carved triple legs, pedal lyre and molding, the overall appearance of this piano is both formal and elegant.
